the last few months, i've had a lot of time to reflect on my life and what heavenly father has thrown at me. i have learned that there is nothing chris and i cannot handle. no matter what comes our way, we will get through it.
although these are hard times chris and i are going through, i believe that it is good to reflect on the positive things in life, especially during times of hardship.
i have so many things and people to be grateful for!
here are just a few things that i really am so happy about :)
-chris! he's my best friend, and truly acts as one. i could not ask for a more amazing husband. his love for me and support has really emphasized on what a great person he is. everybody who meets him knows this! i know that no matter what, he will be by my side. he is there for me through the thick and thin. i remember one of my friends told me, "he is the most thoughtful person i've ever met!" and it's true! he is the most self-less person i have ever met. he always thinks of others before himself. he is an amazing friend to all of his friends and all of my friends as well! he is a true example of a child of god and i respect him so much. i love him more and more every day and i know marrying him is the best decision i have ever made. i cannot wait to start a family with this amazing guy and spend forever with him! <3 p="">
-my friends! holy crap i got lucky in the friend department. i am so grateful for all the fun times i have with them, even if it means something as simple as having a crafts night or watching silly television :) i love having friends that i can just call and say hi to! i believe heavenly father puts certain people in your life for a reason, and i know my friends are heaven sent! i love them so much!
-family! my parents are the most amazing parents out there! i know everybody says that, but i really mean it! :) they have been so amazing for letting us stay with them while our house is being finished. i feel like such a burden on them, but they are nothing but positive with us! i also have to shout out to my in-laws, because they are amazing as well. who knew i could marry into a family that i can also call some of my best friends!? i am one lucky girl!
-our house! something that is very exciting that is happening is we are building a townhouse in herriman! i never thought this day would come, but it's getting closer and closer! we have our final walk through next week, then we sign papers, then we're done and we'll be homeowners! we have waited for this and saved for this and we are just so ready to move in! i'm so excited to start decorating! any help is also welcome since i lack in the creativity department ;) i will have to do a full post of our place soon!
these are just a few of the MANY things i am grateful for. i am so happy to where my life is heading and i cannot wait to see what the future holds!
now it's time that i got snuggle on the couch with the hubs and watch some Cops reruns :)
